Grow Greenery, plant cafe
Grow Greenery, a small neighborhood plant cafe is new one.
Grow Greenery is a new plant cafe in my neighborhood. I didn’t even know that a new cafe was opening, but my son, who is always interested in the surroundings, said, “There’s a cafe with lots of plants,” and said that I should go there in the morning.
Thanks to this, I got to know a new cafe and had a more healing time than I expected. The owner is a young man, and I think it’s good to see that people are definitely trying new things based on their own tastes and interests these days.
The concept of a plant cafe is also interesting, and it seems that the manager is still bringing in new plant friends every day and managing them. The word ‘plant butler’ is also in vogue these days, and I think many people are definitely preferring plant-based greenery. Even from the outside, the atmosphere looks just hip. That mustard yellow color is also a really trendy color since last year, and the owner knows what he is doing.
As soon as you walk in, you feel like you’re in the woods. The owner is still organizing and setting up the inside, but it looks like he’s finished. I think it was a good choice to put the kitchen behind the wall. What a great use of the load-bearing wall!
Let’s take a look inside Plant Cafe Grow Greenery. This is my style. The interior is somewhere between chaos and order with various posters and nonchalance lol It’s the feeling I pursued when I was living on my own before. (Of course, the cafe here is much nicer, but that’s just my style)
In many ways, it was nice to get a sense of owner tastes – you probably didn’t take pictures of this and that, and you brought in books (Pride and Prejudice), posters, and props that you were interested in 🙂
I don’t know much about plants, but I’ve interacted with a few people who are planters, so I have a good idea of the vibe. They’re not just using plants as decorative items, but they love to grow them and incorporate them into their daily lives.
First of all, I love the many fresh and pleasant plants. The furniture and accessories are also very tastefully arranged, so I give it a thumbs up. However, I think you should taste the coffee first.
When we visited, there was no one there yet, so we just looked around. Later, we found out that they welcome kids and dogs are allowed. We were a little worried when we went because there are a lot of plants and it might be a little dangerous for children, but I think the owner made a good local judgment. (There are quite a few young people with children in the neighborhood, and they are thirsty for a hip space like this.)
I ordered coffee, iced coffee, and a bagel. I got cream cheese and strawberries. He gave me extra milk because I have a child.
Oh~ The coffee is also good. The price is 2,500 won, so there’s not much difference compared to nearby chain stores, and I think they also prepare 1 liter coffee for kill points. I think the actual space is not very large (there are about 3 to 4 tables, and the capacity is about 10 people), so you should consider takeout.
I also eat bagels for breakfast after a long time, but it’s delicious because the boss bakes it. In fact, I didn’t notice much difference when I ate bagels in London and New York… It’s warm, so you can spread cream cheese or whatever you want on it, right?
The coasters you serve are also cute because they are plants. I thought you were quite tall, but I think you have a cute side.
This plant cafe is still a work in progress. But it’s great to have such a relaxing cafe space in the neighborhood.
Oh, and the hours aren’t super long – they close around 7pm on weekdays, and on weekends they’re only open until 2pm on Saturdays!
